Chapter 112
“Uncle Claude!”
Stellar Rivers‘ eyes lit up with surprise and delight as she turned to the newcomer.
Claude reached out and gently ruffled her hair. “My good niece.”
Jonathan’s brows furrowed slightly at the word “uncle.”
There was something familiar about this man, but he couldn’t quite place it.
The rest of the guests had the same nagging feeling, as if they’d seen him somewhere before.
But Percy was completely stunned.
Uncle?
How the hell did she have an uncle this young?
It took him only a couple of seconds to process before he scoffed in disdain.
“You’re just here to put on a show for her, aren’t you? A girl from the countryside having a wealthy uncle like you? Please.”
He scoffed. “I remember you handing Riverside Corporation over to her. Who are you trying to fool? She clearly latched onto you
as her sugar daddy.”
But before he could gloat any further, Claude let out a sharp, cold chuckle.
His voice was steady, deliberate, every word carrying weight.
“You’d better listen carefully. Stellar was never some country girl. She is the one and only heiress of the Rivers family–the
rightful one who was stolen from us as a child!”
There was dead silence.
For a moment, it felt as though the entire hall had frozen.
Every person present stood in stunned disbelief.
“The Rivers family…? From Southport?” someone whispered.
“The billionaire Rivers family?” Another guest gasped.
“She… she’s the heiress?”
Across the room, William and Margaret looked as if they had been struck by lightning.
Their faces drained of color.

What?!
She was the heiress of the River family in Southport this entire time?
If they knew… if only they had known…
Why the hell had they wasted so much effort trying to force their son to marry Yvonne?!
Compared to the Rivers family, the Harlows were nothing.
Percy couldn’t accept it.
A crushing sense of loss and disbelief surged within him.
“This… this isn’t possible…”
If this man was who he thought he was… then that meant Claude wasn’t just anyone.
He was the current head of the Rivers family–one of the most powerful figures in Southport.
Jonathan finally pieced it together as well.
No wonder Claude had seemed familiar.
He once attended a high–profile business event in Southport, where everyone had been eager to collaborate with the Rivers
family.
Back then, even getting a brief exchange with anyone from the Rivers family was next to impossible.
And now, that same man stood right beside Stellar, personally shielding her.
A complex wave of emotions crashed through Jonathan–regret, frustration, and humiliation.
Claude’s voice was cold and commanding, filled with unshakable authority.
“I never imagined that the cherished heiress of the Rivers family would be treated like this–humiliated, trampled on, betrayed.
“Every single wound you’ve inflicted on her, I will return a hundredfold.”
He turned to Stellar.
“Let’s go. It’s time to go home.”
With that, he wrapped a protective arm around her and strode toward the exit, leaving behind a room full of stunned, ashen- faced people.
Jerome and Pauline stood frozen, their faces pale and drained of color.
William and Margaret looked just as devastated.
Even Jonathan was left speechless.

Suzy finally snapped out of her shock and clicked her tongue.

“Some people really don’t know how to recognize a diamond in the rough. If you had treated Stellar even a fraction better, you
could’ve had the Rivers family as your in–laws.”
She gave an exaggerated sigh.
“Imagine the endless wealth, connections, and a future secured for generations. But no, you tossed her aside like trash. Whatever
karma comes your way, you brought it on yourselves.”
Then, with a smirk, she added, “Funny, isn’t it? You all claimed Stellar stole eighteen years of Yvonne’s life…
“But maybe it was Yvonne who stole from Stellar instead. Now tell me, how do you plan to repay that debt?”
Her words landed like daggers.
The room fell into dead silence, the expressions on the Harlow, Moore, and Brook families‘ faces shifting into something truly
miserable.
Suzy had to bite back a laugh–this was too satisfying.
The final blow came when William let out a strangled gasp, clutching his chest.
His face turned an alarming shade of red before his eyes rolled back and he collapsed.
“Dad-!”
“William! Wake up! Someone–call an ambulance!”
Panic erupted in the hall as chaos unfolded.
