“With your power, finding out what really happened wouldn’t have been hard. There were security cameras in that hallway, and
you knew it. But instead of checking, you convinced yourself to believe her lies.
“Stop justifying your filth. You took other people’s lies and used them to hurt me ninety–nine times over. Now you want my
sympathy? Not happening.”
Harvey’s face twisted in pain, but he couldn’t even get a word out. Fed up, I kicked him square in the chest, sending him
sprawling on the floor.
“I’ve got evidence of everything you did to me. Keep harassing me, and I’ll go public.”
I didn’t look back. At the entrance, Mom was waiting, her face tight with worry. When she saw I was okay, she let out a long, relieved sigh.
We left together.
