That moment shattered something inside me completely.
I looked him in the eyes and said, “Let’s break our true mate bond.”
“You’re breaking our bond over this?” Eugene’s eyes widened in disbelief.
He scolded me harshly, “All of this is to help me be a better Alpha and solidify our pack’s power. You’re not a child anymore. Don’t make rash decisions you’ll regret later! I won’t agree to this!
