A month later, William and I got divorced.
Walking out of the court, I felt joyous.
Even the air smelled sweet at that moment.
I should have let everything go the moment I saw William and Abril at the hospital.
William walked in front of me from behind and proudly looked at me.
“Audrey, I hope you’ll be happy in the future.”
I laughed. “William, do you mean it?”
William put away his smile and walked towards Abril. She was waiting for him not far away. But I stopped him.
“Anything else?”
I stood on the steps looking down at him, indifferently.
“William, have you forgotten that you’ve gotten a vasectomy?” 1
My words caused William to be off guard.
“Of… course, I didn’t forget.”
William stuttered.
“Why are you talking about this all of a sudden? Didn’t I have my recanalization surgery a long time ago?”
I nodded. “That’s right. It’s me who took the test reports for the last couple of times.
“Every time I’ve asked you to read it, you just ignored me.”
“I
I sighed. “It doesn’t matter if you read it or not, since we didn’t want children anyway. But now…”
William’s face became pale, and he even tried to pounce and grab me.
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
I shrugged my shoulders. “I never thought you would cheat on me.
“The reports are in the last drawer of the wardrobe. Go to get them.”
I looked at William’s eyes. He seemed to be disappointed.
“That’s all I could tell you. As for the rest, you’ll know it when you see it.”

Chapter 11 The Ending
I stopped talking and held Vivian’s hand to leave.
William didn’t want kids at the beginning, so he took some medical measures about it.
But then he thought it may affect his body. He had another surgery to make up for it.
I felt sorry for him, and I didn’t stop him. But I accompanied him to do a body checkup once a year.
The recanalization was very successful in the beginning and was what led to my two pregnancies.
But in the latter years, something was wrong with his seminal fluid.
William was perhaps so confident in himself that he didn’t even look at the medical reports afterward.
Every time I reminded him, he didn’t take it seriously.
“We don’t want kids anyway, isn’t it better?”
He always said that to me.
But I didn’t say that Abril’s baby wasn’t William’s.
William could still have babies.
Besides, William was a confident guy. He and Abril must have dated a lot behind my back.
