The next morning, Kevin’s alarm rang. He frowned, turning it off directly before preparing to sleep a little longer.
Before he could lie down for another two minutes, Jessie knocked on his door as her voice came through.
“Mr. Harper, are you up? It’s almost eight o’clock, and we agreed to go to the mall together at half past seven.”
Hearing her voice, Kevin responded somewhat irritably.

He quickly got up and changed his clothes. When he opened the door, he saw Jessie had prepared breakfast and was sitting at the table waiting for him.

She seriously suspected he had a bad morning temper. Who would have such a serious expression early in the morning?
