1996 Bar.
Kevin arrived and settled into the plush booth.
Reynold lounged in the main seat of the sofa, with Kevin beside him. These two men had always been the pinnacle of Havendor, admired by all, the dream partners of the rich and glamorous. When they were together, they became the center of attention, drawing all eyes in 1996.
Cindy couldn’t contain her excitement. Her beloved had returned, and her gaze sparkled as she sat beside Kevin, her heart filled with joy.
Evelyn sat next to Reynold, surrounded by a few wealthy heir playmates from their circle, adding to the lively atmosphere.
Benedict grinned, his voice full of excitement. “Kevin, it’s been ages since we last saw each other. It’s great to have you back in the country.”
The wealthy heir friends teased, “Kevin, are the foreign beauties more captivating than those here in Havendor? Have you found someone to catch your eye?”
Kevin casually lifted his glass of wine, a playful glint in his eyes as he raised an eyebrow. “No, the beauties in Havendor are still much more interesting.”
The wealthy heirs nodded in agreement, saying, “Absolutely, Evelyn and Cindy, the most stunning women in Havendor, are both here.”
When her name was mentioned, Evelyn flashed a knowing smile. She was no stranger to being dubbed the most beautiful woman in Havendor.
Cindy, with a sweet smile, cast a lingering glance at Kevin, trying to capture his attention.
However, Kevin seemed uninterested in the two women. Instead, he turned to Reynold next to him and said, “Reynold, could you help me find someone?”
Reynold raised his glass and clinked it with Kevin’s, asking casually, “A man or a woman?”
Kevin smirked and replied, “A woman.”
Reynold took a relaxed sip from his drink. “Ah, no wonder you showed up so late today. Did you meet someone interesting?
Kevin let out a light chuckle.
Having been close friends for many years, Reynold leaned in with interest. “She must have really grabbed your attention. What’s your type?”
Reynold was genuinely curious about the kind of woman Kevin was drawn to.
Kevin paused, then said, “She’s both delicate and fierce, the type who truly gets under your skin.”
Benedict and the other wealthy heirs were stunned. “Kevin, which beauty in Havendor are you referring to?”
“It’s not Evelyn or Cindy, right? We’re all dying to know what kind of woman has caught your eye.”
Kevin was known for being hard to impress, and no one had ever been able to win his affection. Naturally, everyone was curious about this mysterious woman who seemed to have captivated him.
Evelyn, who had been in a cheerful mood, instantly lost her smile.
Cindy stood frozen, unable to move.
Kevin unlocked his phone and showed Reynold a photo of the Ferrari’s license plate. “Reynold, can you help me look into

this car?”
Reynold glanced at the photo, his piercing, cold eyes narrowing.
He recognized the Ferrari immediately.
Reynold glanced at Kevin, his voice low. “The woman drives this sports car?”
Kevin nodded. “Yes, she even dumped me. This woman is quite intriguing.”
If Reynold’s memory was correct, this Ferrari was one he had gifted to Catherine.
In addition to the large checks, he had also gifted her a few cars and houses. When Brian returned, she mentioned that Catherine had only chosen the Ferrari.
He couldn’t help but find it odd–she could really drive a sports car?
He knew Kevin’s driving skills well. In fact, he and Kevin often raced each other. Catherine came from the countryside, and yet she managed to drive a sports car and leave Kevin in the dust.
Just then, Brian approached. “Mr. Parker.”
Reynold stood up. “I’ll step outside for a moment.”
Reynold stepped out of the luxurious booth and stood in a dimly lit corner. Brian approached him quietly, whispering, “Mr. Parker, Mrs. Parker called earlier. She went out driving the Ferrari at night, seemed to be racing with someone, and ended up crashing into a wall. The front of the car is completely wrecked.”
Reynold’s face darkened, his expression turning cold. “Is she hurt?”
Brian replied, “She’s not injured. Should we send the car abroad for repairs?”
Reynold’s voice was icy. “No need. Get rid of the sports car.”
Brian froze for a moment, confused. “Mr. Parker, what do you mean?”
“Get rid of the sports car. Ensure no one can trace its history. Do you understand?”
Brian broke into a cold sweat. Who had managed to provoke the president? Reynold’s anger was as intense as if he had swallowed gunpowder. “Yes!”
Reynold gave a curt nod. “You can go now.”
Brian left, leaving Reynold by himself. A cold smile slowly spread across his face as he realized he had misjudged Catherine. She had somehow caught Kevin’s attention.
The one Kevin was after was Catherine.
Reynold hadn’t expected Kevin, known for his high standards, to show any interest in a girl from the countryside.
She could all do as she pleased, but Kevin? That was something else entirely!
Reynold walked back into the luxurious booth, where Kevin glanced at him and asked, “Why did your secretary come over?”
Reynold’s expression remained unchanged, his voice steady and neutral. “There’s an urgent document that requires my attention. I’ve asked Brian to look into the sports car. I’ll let you know if there’s any news.”
Kevin nodded in acknowledgment. “Alright.”
