Chapter 110
“After all, we’ll still have to see each other in the business world, won’t we?”
Besides, in cases involving contracts worth millions, what lawyer would willingly step into such a mess?
In the corporate world, alliances shifted constantly–who’s to say they wouldn’t be doing business with the Moore family again someday?
Any lawyer who took on this case and lost would not only fail but also offend the Moore family.
And that wouldn’t end well for them.
Hearing this, the business partners looked grim, their anger still palpable.
But he wasn’t wrong.
Even if they wanted to sue, finding a lawyer willing to take the case would be nearly impossible.
Just as they hesitated, Suzy let out a laugh and stepped forward.
“Why wouldn’t you pursue this?”
Amusement flickered in her eyes as she spoke. “The Moore family is just putting on a front. In the eyes of the law, everyone is
equal.
“If you’re worried about finding a good lawyer, I can recommend one. Xavier Reed. If there’s a case no one dares to touch, he’ll
take it.”
The moment she said his name, realization dawned on the crowd.
“Xavier Reed? You mean that Xavier Reed? The top–tier lawyer who’s never lost a case?”
“That’s right! He left Moore Enterprises not long ago. He knows their operations inside out. I want him to take my case! I won’t let this product scandal slide.
“Me too!”
Suzy pulled out a thick stack of business cards. “Here’s his contact.”
The moment she handed them out, the business partners scrambled to snatch them up, hurrying off to seek legal action.
Seeing this, the remaining guests wasted no time making their exit, eager to distance themselves from the Moore family before they got caught up in the scandal.
The Moore family was completely humiliated.
Not only had the engagement turned into a public disgrace, but now their corporate fraud was exposed.

Would Moore Enterprises even survive this?
“You ruined everything!”
Percy’s eyes were bloodshot as he glared at Stellar Rivers, his voice filled with anger and disbelief.
“If you wanted revenge on me, fine–come after me. But why take down my entire family?”
Then, as if something snapped inside him, he suddenly grabbed her arm and dragged her toward the stage.
“Isn’t this what you wanted? To be with me? Fine! I’ll give you what you want. Let’s get engaged, right now!”
His grip was tight, his movements frantic, his rationality completely gone.
Seeing what was happening, Suzy immediately rolled up her sleeves and charged forward.
“Are you out of your mind? What the hell are you doing?”
Before she could finish, Stellar had already made her move.
With a swift, forceful motion, she threw Percy to the ground in the blink of an eye.
She dusted off her hands and looked down at him from above.
“If you hadn’t done anything wrong, you wouldn’t have ended up like this.”
It seemed like all that self–defense training from Mary had paid off.
“Ah–1”
Percy hit the ground hard, landing flat on his back as pain shot through his skull.
“If the Moore family really goes bankrupt, you’ll have no one to blame but yourself.”
“Percy!”
William rushed forward to help his son up, his face a mix of fury and disbelief.
“You’re out of control, Stellar! This is madness!”
Jerome and Pauline’s eyes burned with hatred, their gazes filled with pure hostility.
Stellar met their stares head–on, unflinching
“You have no right to judge me. I told you from the very beginning that it was Yvonne who tricked me and got me kidnapped. I barely escaped with my life. But not a single one of you believed me.
“And now, even with the recording laid out in front of you, you still refuse to believe the truth. All you care about is defending Yvonne. One day, you’ll regret this.”
With that, she turned away, ignoring the way their faces twisted in anger, and grabbed Suzy’s arm to leave.

Pauline’s eyes were bloodshot, her chest rising and falling rapidly.
Her real daughter, whom she had finally found after eighteen years, was about to face prison time.
Meanwhile, Stellar, the imposter, stood there, arrogant and untouchable.
A surge of uncontrollable rage exploded within her.
Without thinking, she grabbed the nearest wine bottle and lunged forward, swinging it straight at the back of Stellar’s head.
