Chapter 101
The two reporters who just spoken were startled when the situation suddenly turned against them.
They exchanged glances and attempted to slip away in the chaos.
However, with just a single look from Stephen, the security guards swiftly restrained them.
His voice was cold as he said, “As journalists, you have no professionalism and are unqualified for this job.”
Leaving those words behind, he turned and walked away, leaving his assistant to handle the matter.
When he came out, he saw Stellar standing by the door.
Her slender figure exuded a quiet resilience that unexpectedly tugged at his heartstrings.
He quickly approached her. “Let’s go home.“.
Seeing that it was him, Stellar let out a small breath of relief and nodded.
The ride back was silent.
Stephen, being considerate, didn’t say much either.
Even though she gathered the courage to face her past shadows, the whole situation had still left Stellar unsettled.
After getting out of the car, she absentmindedly bid Stephen goodbye.
Back home, she had little appetite for dinner.
Mary noticed her state and was a little worried, but out of respect, she didn’t ask further.
She only reminded her that she could reheat the food later if she got hungry.
That night, Stellar stepped out onto the open–air balcony to get some fresh air.
The night sky was beautiful, and the soft evening breeze brushed against her hair and cheeks, as if it could carry all her worries.
away.
Resting her chin on one hand, her gaze suddenly landed on a tall figure standing on the opposite balcony.
Across the distance, their eyes met.
Time seemed to freeze.
The wind swept between them
It took a moment before Stellar came back to her senses.
That was when she noticed the telescope placed beside Stephen

Blinking in curiosity, she hesitated for a moment before taking out her phone and sending him a message: “Sentor, are you stargazing?”
Not long after, his reply came through: “Want to watch together?”
She was a little surprised by his invitation.
Maybe it was because she wasn’t in the best mood tonight, but for once, she let herself be impulsive.
Replying with a simple “Okay,” she grabbed a coat, headed downstairs and rang the doorbell of the villa across from hers.
The moment the bell chimed, the door unlocked automatically.
Stephen was waiting at the entrance, a subtle gleam in his eyes.
“Come with me.”
His tone was so effortless, so casual–like he was inviting a friend over- that Stellar felt completely at ease.
She followed him upstairs to the balcony.
Stephen adjusted the telescope, fine–tuning it to a specific angle before signaling to her. “Take a look.”
Stellar stepped forward curiously, and what she saw took her breath away–the endless expanse of stars, the universe suddenly feeling so close, as if she could reach out and touch it.
“It’s beautiful!”
The dazzling starlight reflected in her eyes, and she couldn’t help but exclaim in wonder.
“The universe is vast, filled with billions of stars, yet the ones visible to the naked eye are less than ten thousand,” Stephen said,
his deep voice carrying a certain hazy charm under the night sky.
“But with advancements in technology, telescopes now allow us to see stars that were once beyond our reach.”
“The section you’re looking at now is a cluster of stars, positioned near the North Star,” he explained.
“It may not be as bright as the North Star itself, but it’s my favorite cluster to observe…”
Whenever the topic involved astronomy, Stephen spoke far more than usual.
Stellar listened intently, finding none of it dull.
On the contrary, her curiosity was piqued–she wanted to know more.
She also realized that Stephen’s love for the sky was genuine.
His research wasn’t limited to aerospace mechanics.
His knowledge stretched far beyond what she had imagined.
She asked him a few questions here and there, and Stephen answered each one without hesitation.
