Chapter 32
After finishing his speech, Victor walked off the stage and stopped in front of Amelia.
His expression was icy. Tve done it according to your request. Are you satisfied now?”
“Sure.” Amelia nodded,
“Let’s abide by the contract. You become a shareholder, but you’re not supposed to take part in the running of the company. We’ll pay you dividend on seasonal terms on time. Don’t take a step into the company without our permit.”
“Sure. I’ll keep my word” Amelia reassured him, only then did he look a little less hostile.
“Hope you have a good time tonight” He said so and then left.
Amelia had no intention interfering with the Hartwell family’s business. She had asked Theo to give her the shares only to prevent retaliation from

hat, she would not have let herself step again into that mire
She did have a good time and met some friends that she had during her two–year stay in the Eponix Group. For the sake of seeing them again, she Joasted a few times,
Halfway through it, she suddenly put down her goblet and excused herself. “I have to go to the restroom
She hastily squeezed through the crowd and walked out of the hall.
Her head was dizzy, her limbs limp.
It was strange. She had always held her liquor well. She shouldn’t be drunk because of a few glass of wine.
There’s something wrong with the wine. She panicked to realize that and immediately called Sharon for help.
Then she rushed into the restroom and tried to cool herself down with running water, only to find it had little help. Without any other resort, she locked herself into one of the stalls for security,
The wine began to eat up her consciousness. She felt her body getting heavier and heavier.
She was quite nervous but then there were footsteps approaching.
Through the crevice of the door, she saw two men sneaking in, craning their necks searching for something
“There’s no one. This is strange. I saw her walk in just now.”
“Maybe she has left. Let’s look for her outside”
It alerted her.
As soon as they left, she pinched herself hard on the thigh and sneaked out.
She had to run for her safery.
Those

Under the influence of the drugged wine, she gasped hard and trembled. But still she ran without stopping. When her arm was grasped, she turned around in panic and was about to shout. But it was a familiar face that she saw,
“Vince? Why are you here!”
The sound from the banquet was audible. There Vince was, standing against the light, blocking her from the boisterous crowd
The effect of the wine was too strong. Before Vince could answer her question, she had used up all her strength and fainted in his armis.
With his experience in the entertainment circle, Vince realized immediately that Amelia had been drugged.
He carried her into his car and left the hotel.
As Amelia’s kry handbag had been left in the basques, Vince drove her to his own place.

Chapter 32
When be carried her upstairs and put her on the bed, Amelia didn’t stir at all. She was in deep slumber. He could smell the faint fragrance on her body. He thought she smelled like pure lily
He couldn’t control himself and moved closer and closer until her breath brushed past his cheek and lips.
Under the moonlight, his tender gaze roamed attentively over her face.
Had Amelia been awake, she would be petrified under such affectionate and possessive stare, But now she was sound asleep, her expression peaceful, utterly unconscious of what was happening.
Bewitched, Vince ran his hand over her and pinched her chin gently. His thumb brushed her soft lips.
Then he lowered his head and kissed her on the lips infatuatedly. It was a gentle, sweet, and fragrant kiss.
He was surprised by his impulsion. A voice sounded in his mind.
It’s not appropriate to take advantage of her, is it? Then another voice said, “It’s only a kiss. No one will know it!
It was sweet yet uneasy so not long after he ended it with a still pounding heart
But when he opened his eyes, his eyes met straight with Amelia’s. She had woken up.
I’m sorry.” He stammered.
Before he could continue, Amelia suddenly pounced on him and kissed him. Her lips were soft. But she kissed savagely without any skills.
Yet it was most alluring for Vince.
“Bang!
It ended when Amelia lost her balance and fell to the ground with him
The pain sobered Vince up.
In the darkness, he smiled with some chagrin. He carried Amelia back onto the bed, who had closed her eyes again. What happened just now seemed merely her sleep walking.
She was so drunk.
